My mom and I spent some rare one-on-one time together driving an hour out of town to Pawhuska, Oklahoma. We were sojourning to Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile, (which was amazing by the way) but couldn’t help but notice all the beautiful wildflowers along the way. We found a variety of Asters, Yellow Sweetclover, Oklahoma Spiderwort, and a few others I haven’t been able to identify.
I ended up making a nature vignette out of our findings and it’s a really beautiful result. Now, if I could have just a whole garden of wildflowers, that would be a dream.
