New Blog Design

Change is good. After two years of blogging, I’ve finally given the place a much needed face lift. I really love how it turned out and it only took me two days. That is a feat in my book, since right now my 8 month old is very clingy and wants to be near/play/be held all the time. Thank God for those nap times! Anyway, I’d love to hear what you think.
Also, I’d really love to know what you want to see more of on this blog. More DIY projects, crafts, design, artist interviews? Let me know!

Dear Evie, thank you again so much! I hardly ever win things and I am really very excited! We are kind of colleagues, as I have a degree in graphic-design, I am a crafter and also a mother (of two). Only the artistic aspect is still a bit… well… forgotten. My dad worked for the UN in Manhattan from 1979-1982 and during that time I had seriously considered of applying at the Parson’s School of Design. But as my dad somehow didn’t manage to support me I forgot about those ambitious plans and became just a mediocre German typographist. And later I found health issues far more interesting so I became an aromatherapist. In the meantime I am one of a dozen well known German language authorities in the field of essential oils. So if you ever need an advice for your little one just let me know.
Your blog was actually the first non-German blog I had on my blog roll, I only started blogging last November. In the meantime I am almost addicted and only our stone age-slow connection makes me stop my new passion!
