Here is what you need:
- Printer
- Legal sized paper (8.5 x 14)
- Sticker (optional, to seal closure)
Simply print out the template using the link below and follow the instructions.

when I printed this out it didnt come out big enough. Could you help me get it to print out bigger?
Thank you
Hi Karen, make sure your printer settings are set on 8.5 x 14 paper and that it’s printing at 100%. Hope that helps!
i can’t wait to try this! thanks!
It would be cool if you could put up the pattern without anything printed on it, so people could use their own stylish paper or their own images.
As it is, I can take it out with photoshop, but would save people some work. Neat Idea.
@ Chris
Yes, I do plan on putting up a plain template here in the near future, or multiple colors/styles to choose from…so check back soon!
Thanks!
Thank you for such a wonderful idea! I have been printing creative color labels on my discs with my DiscPainter and I hated putting my designs into a plain jewel case. Your idea will now make the cases look as good as the disc labels!

Thank you for such wonderful idea!
I burn cds for friends all the time. I can’t wait to give them these next time. And now I know what to do with the ones I couldn’t fit in my carry cd cases.
I have changed my printer properties to 8.5 x 14 paper and printing at 100% but it cuts off a little of the bottom part of the template. What could I do?
Hi Tiana, are you sure you are using 8.5 x 14 paper? It should work for you if you were able to change the settings on your printer. If you had photoshop you could try opening it up in there and tweaking the placement.
Hi there, I’m using normal A4 size paper. I’m just changing the paper size to 8.5 x 14…is that the problem?
Yes, you have to use legal size (8.5 x 14) paper, otherwise it will cut off on the bottom because the paper isn’t large enough.
