Vintage Beauty: Treasures from Weekend Jaunts, Part Two
Posted in Things of Beauty by evie s. on December 8th, 2007
As promised, here are my favorite personal treasures from estate sale trips this year. Estate sales are great for finding vintage jewelry and accessories. Most of the ladies kept pretty good care of their things too, leaving them in pristine condition for the next generation.
From left to right:
1960’s belted long white leather coat with fox fur trim [paid $25 for] // glass bead necklace with inlaid floral design pendant [$8] // Turquoise leather handbag [$5] // Copper mesh and filigree belt [$4] // Vintage mod hat made in Italy [paid around $1 for]
1950’s party dress by Teena Paige [paid a whopping $2] // 1960’s grape ring by Sarah Coventry [ I think I paid 50 cents] // Vintage charge plate holder [$4] // 1970’s sweater hand-knit in Norway [$2] // Vintage costume jewelry [25 cents]
You can find the full-size images of these vintage beauties on flickr.
