Tea Sets by Christine Misiak

Tea Sets by Christine Misiak‘Tis the season for drinking hot beverages, and I love these tea sets that Northumbria University design graduate Christine Misiak finds at various sales and brings back to life. She reclaims, restyles and resurfaces them, transforming them into new, hip, contemporary products that are as gorgeous as they are eco- friendly. Misiak explains her concept:

“Basically I take old, worn forgotten tea sets and give them a new lease of life. I find the old battered metal tea sets at sales or flea markets and make it usable and desirable again.”

Apparently, other people enjoy these formerly disregarded beauties because she’s gained a lot of attention from the design industry in London.
